Well, kids– I have something to say that has nothing to do with the internet.
I’m transferring :(
A week from today I will start classes at Shippensburg University instead of my beloved George Washington University. The current plan is for the change only to last one semester and then I’ll go back to GW in the spring. It was a really hard decision and had a lot to do with how the past year has gone and my hopes for a better year this time around. I think that this is a smart move, but it’s still scary and sad not to be returning to my city.
I don’t think anyone reading this goes to college with me or graduated with me or anything like that, but I wanted to post it here anyway, just to get it out there.
What this means for you, dear Harrisburg Twitterati– it that I’m going to stick around. My current plans however will prevent me from attending tweetups. I’ll be learning about the history of Sub-Saharan Africa. I move for a date change, but that’s just me.
If you’ll excuse me, I have to go register for classes.

Good luck with the switch. One university is too few anyway. Gotta diversify. Mix in some trade schools, community colleges, semesters at sea, and a University of Phoenix or two.
